CORE CONDITIONING FOR BOOMERS - DVD





Core Conditioning resistance exercisers increase strength, flexibility, balance, overall body awareness and coordination - "functional fitness for everyday activities". Each move you make during your everyday lifestyle is initiated from our core. Strong core muscles (buttocks, hips and abdominals) are essential for a healthy, injury free lifestyle. The exercises conducted by Kathi Yuiska, a certified ACE fitness instructor, utilize the concepts and techniques of Joseph Pilates. 

The core DVD program has 9 series of exercises from beginner level to advanced. If you are a beginner to exercise or advanced, utilize the programs described below. Exercise 20-30 minutes per session to accomplish desired results.


BEGINNER
Day 1 - warm up / balance & quads / floor & bridging / cool down
Day 2 - warm up / weights/prone over ball / cool down
Day 3 - warm up / roll up / table top / cool down
Day 4 - warm up / weights / cool down
Day 5 - warm up / floor & bridging / balance & quads / cool down
Day 6 - warm up / roll up / sidelying / table top / cool down


 Joseph Pilates instructed his clients to complete the basic exercises properly before advancing to intermediate or advanced activities. Exercising 25-30 minutes is sufficient for accomplishing desired goals.


INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED
Day 1 - warm up / balance & quads / roll up / prone over ball / cool down
Day 2 - warm up / weights / sidelying / cool down
Day 3 - warm up / roll up / table top / sidelying / floor & bridging / cool down
