PRONEX II CERVICAL TRACTION UNIT
Designed for home therapy, the PRONEX II is effective in the management and treatment of chronic cervical pain.
The one-piece PRONEX II needs no assembly. It consists of a sculpted foam cushion of precise density foam connected to a matching bellows.
The "U"-shaped PRONEX II slips around the back of a reclining patient's head and neck. There are no restraints and no interference with the patient's normal jaw function. The patient uses an inflator bulb to slowly expand the bellows with air, creating a gentle stretch of up to 20 lbs. of continuously adjustable traction. An air release valve on the bulb simplifies intermittent and/or static traction and provides a gentle release of pressure.
The cushion aligns with and supports the occiput as the bellows expands against the upper trapezius. PRONEX II supports the natural alignment of the cervical spine for maximum comfort and stretch.
PRONEX II is portable, weighing less than 5 lbs., with carrying case.
